Thursday, January 24th, 2019 at 6:50 pm

As busy college students, it can be hard to remember the simpler times of childhood, when the only thing that had you stressed was how much faster you could sled down a slope compared to your friends. Well, if you’re looking to relive those innocent snow days spent with friends then head on over to the Capulin Snow Play Area! Zipping down a snowy slope has never been more fun, beautiful, and free than it is at Capulin. Located along the Sandia Crest Scenic Byway just past the ski resort, it’s the perfect place to find yourself on a snowy day. The area provides three separate and fully developed slopes to sled down, all of which are fenced in and treeless – making for a truly magical and safe sledding experience. Whether you decide to spend your time racing friends down the slopes, starting snowball fights, or simply enjoying the stunning view with a cup of hot chocolate, the Capulin Snow Play Area has everything a Lobo needs to enjoy some soul-refreshing snow day activity.
