Jamie Rhoads
Growing up on his parents’ land between Chama and Tierra Amarilla, Jamie was raised in the wilderness. He’s built cabins, wrangled wild horses, trekked mountain ridges in search of the perfect backcountry skiing, and jumped off countless cliffs – usually wearing a parachute. Now he’s attending UNM to study the science of the natural world he’s grown up on with the hope that he can continue to live a life in the wilderness while also helping to protect and preserve it.
