Abiquiu Lake

Abiquiu Lake is one of New Mexico’s largest and most scenic bodies of water. Against Georgia O’Keefe’s famed landscape, Abiquiu Lake is a terrific place to go for a leisurely weekend swim or if more adrenaline is needed, cliff jumping locations line the southern and western rims of the lake. Depending on the time of year and the water level, Abiquiu offers epic cliff jumping opportunities anywhere from fifteen to nearly fifty feet high. In spring, summer and fall it offers a much needed dose of water-centric adventure that all Lobos seek
